The Yeovil Innovation Centre is hosting an “Inventor’s Clinic” from 16th to 27th November 2009.
This is for people with an innovative and unique idea and who need help with Patent Attorneys, or advice and guidance from BusinessLinks’ Innovation Officer as to how to advance a brilliant and useful invention.
The South West Inventors Club have exhibition space from these dates.
Kevin Woods - inventor of ‘EasyBricks’, ‘Stop-It’ and ‘Secure-It’ - and Mark Clarke - inventor of several specialist tools - will be there to demonstrate exactly what their products can do - on Wednesday 25th November at the actual Inventors Clinic.
In Kevin’s inventions one can see the potential for aiding childhood development from a building, confidence and skills perspective - particularly from a Parents’ or School’s point of view; inventions to help the elderly in particular; and to rescue lost car keys. In Mark’s inventions you can see the practical nature of easing carpentry problems with particular reference to kitchen fittings and other carpentry issues which will save time and guarantee accuracy, for example with drawer alignment.
Neither exhibit should be missed - firstly from a School or Parent’s view and secondly from a Tradesperson’s point of view!
Other SWIC Members will be displaying their inventions with wall charts.
